The Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise (EWADE) proudly extends its deepest appreciation to Their Majesties for championing women’s empowerment through the successful hosting of the second leg of the Buganu Festival at Hlane Royal Residence. This inspiring cultural celebration continues to be a cornerstone for recognizing and uplifting the women of Eswatini, reinforcing their invaluable role in preserving tradition, driving economic progress, and shaping the nation’s future.

EWADE was honoured to take part in this year’s festivities, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to inclusive development and the advancement of women. The Buganu Festival remains a profound platform where women’s contributions to society are honoured, showcasing their strength, resilience, and leadership in cultural and economic spheres.

During the Vusela engagement earlier this year, our Chief Executive Officer highlighted EWADE’s dedication to empowering women through sustainable agricultural initiatives and water resource management. He emphasized that fostering collaboration between traditional structures and development efforts is key to ensuring that women have access to opportunities that enhance their livelihoods and communities. This vision aligns seamlessly with the essence of the Buganu Festival, where tradition and progress unite to elevate the voices and impact of Eswatini’s women.
